getting a 91 cx hatchback

ok I'm about to get a 91 CX hatchback 4 speed, and I'm getting rid of my DX automatic (send it to university with my sister) anyways I was wondering if once I get the cash and I want to stick a ZC engine in it with a SI transmission... would it fit what sort of re wireing is needed for the ecu? anyone got any advice?

Yeah....we've had this discussion before. I am pretty sure the CX is the STD of Canada. But if he is gonna slap a ZC with Si tranny it in..no matter!!!
Try this link dude - http://hybrid.honda-perf.org/tech/4gtech.html - it tells you about the DX to ZC wiring swap in the ZC portion which is essentially what you will need to do....your motor should be the 1.5L DPFI...which is what all of us peeps with DXs or STDs have to do here in the US.

Well...now if I wasn't sick I could drive to PA to get that motor! *coff* *coff* - Hopefully by this weekend 91zc will only have one motor for his car and I will have two!

I think your biggest thing is reusing the CX Motors driver's side mount bracket and mount. From there it's wiring and picking up a D16Z6 Exhuast Manifold and rewiring the intake manifold and the other OBD1 changes to the older ZC.

..That is unless you buy the 3rd Generation ZC which is OBD1, they made them in the 92-93 Civic Si Limited Edition in Japan for only those two years with the SiR and MX and VTi (which was an economy VTEC from what I remember).

Oh, and you'll have to use the newer clutch kit and flywheel, unless the ZC already has something comparable to that of a 90 model or later.

ok yeah I looked at the specs for the car and seesm to compare to the specs for the std.. anyways 91 guy want 4000 cdn dollars for it (don't ask me to convert the doller is dropping too quickly) also with the ZC which version of it would be best or should I save up and go with a b16A and if so which version of that would be best?

rip off, do what I should have done and buy an Si and get a B16, it'll cost more but it'll be worth it.
